Horizontal Beauty !

I like many have seen for a while now the countless websites that have taken to using horizontal scrolling in as navigation in their websites . I think its beautiful ! It makes the site run so smoothly , the navigation is smooth gives a real touch of class to any website . Ive included some below :

I think that i could create the design layout for a site such as this , popularpeace.org , could still be the simplistic design i insisted i wanted to create from the beginning , yet i be designed in such a way to make the horizontal navigation possible .

the thing i love about http://www.exit10.com/ , is th fact that
not only does the site navigate horizontally , but all around
the page in all directions , almost like a spider diagram .
Depending on which link you press , the navigation is
smooth and sleek all through the site .

 Swedish designer ,  Eric Johanson and his cutesy
 website which has its own scroll bar at the bottom of the page.
 Its so simple and straight to the point .  The colours are really 
nice to , not to in your face , just right i believe . His works 
nice to , a great take on the horizontal theme .

I liked this site because , the layout is nice and perhaps 
the type of layout i would perhaps be interested in . 
The again simple colour and layout is appealing to me . 
The menu stays , while the site moves horizontal in navigation , 
which i think is nice , simple and not confusing at all .

This site is wonderful !

The colors on Lucuma are brilliant. The horizontal navigation is out of this world. Simple again and straight to the point of the site . The smooth nav is a pleasure to watch , and i found myself just clicking and clicking the links to enjoy the transitions again and again . 

These examples i have found of horizontal navigation , are only a few , there are thousands of companies and organisations out there who are adopting , or have adopted the same style for there , portfolio sites , businesses , organisations etc . I think a minimalistic site with this type of navigation , would help popularpeace.org to stand out from the crowd , in the online charity organisation sector .
