OI LISTEN NOW .... advertising
is that a threat ???
is this type of advertisement although the truth , too morbid for the public ? Or should we break through the stigma and give it to the public hard , more effective ?? heres some examples i found :
They are for a range of causes , organisations , but they are hard hitting and really effective , i think i need to look at these to get some inspiration for the use of my own brand :
i found an image of the one above , although very small , i think the message is great . Second hand smoke is the matter in question , and it hits the spot . Controversial it may be , but i like this forward , making no bones about it approach .
these two images , are to highlight the emergence of obesity in the world today :
The message is obesity is suicide , its strong , and the imagery particularly with the guy with the sausages wrapped around his neck is great , an not so nice but truthful image :
a controversial advert campaign by sisley , playing on the " fashion junkie " tagline , which i think is extremely clever and dangerous which is what makes the image so appealing .
Another very famous con ad , was the :

using a model in their latest magazine campaign :
sexual undertones ?
it caused severe backlash and was even investigated by the Advertising Standards Authority in the UK :
Got to admire them tho , it was brave !
