Project background:
The Project Popular Peace Brief : was first presented to our class as a live brief in the Minor Project module in first semester of Yr 3 .
I have chosen to further develop my previous designs and work in conjunction with David Roberts on his ideas on the outcomes he desires for the project .

Project description:
As a charity website and working brand , the users of the site would be the audience that the charity is aimed at , the victims of war torn countries , who want change for the future . It would be an aid ( a portal for them ) to voice their concerns and needs , their voice for change .

The site would solve many problems , as it would be a web based aid that's available to all the world over . The branding of popular peace is equally important and would be a benefit if properly designed and applied , as recognition of the Popular Peace brand would increase and gather more support .

Personally I believe good solid , well thought out Branding is very important for the success of Popular Peace as a international Brand .

Project aspirations:
By doing this module i wish to put in alot of what i have learned , and put it to practice , as well as gaining from the module .

On a personal level i wish to gain confidence , in myself and my own work. I sometimes lack confidence in my work and tend not to trust my instincts enough . With this module , as everyone has went separate ways now and branched off to many different mediums , i hope to be more secure in my own decision making in regards to my own work and development.

I want to treat this module and project i have chosen to undertake , as a professional project . I want to work well and plan it properly .
Time management will very important in the final module and i want to develop the skills that it requires to work with a client , which i think will benefit me in the world of professional design .

For my Final Major project i have chosen to continue on a previous brief that was handed out as part of the minor project module last semester .

" POPULAR PEACE "

is a branding project set by David Roberts , a Senior lecturer at the University :

We've been asked to Create a brand identity solution for a platform website that accumulates and disseminates research data to be gathered from post-conflict countries specifically concerned with what the population would prioritise for peace if it were given the choice.

The website will act as a research source for peace building scholars and policy makers. The idea involves the 'civilizing' of peace building around genuinely democratic processes - rather than just holding elections and then leaving it to chance and charity. Elections are just a technical processes.approach assumes a deeper approach to the social reality of millions of
extremely vulnerable people. It presumes that the people in post conflict spaces have to be heard in order for them to participate meaningfully. The website communicates their priorities to the outside world so they might provide what people want, rather than what we believe they should have.

Just a bit of background on what the actuall project objective
